OUR LADY HEALTH OF THE SICK - FEAST DAY 28th AUGUST
OUR LADY HEALTH OF THE SICK
SATURDAY 28 AUGUST
We look to Our Lady, under her title, Health of the Sick, for spiritual assistance, as well as for ailments of body and soul. Her feast day is an opportunity to dwell on her love for the sick and her tender care for the dying. Nursing nuns such as the Little Sisters of the Poor and the Sisters of Charity have dedicated their lives to caring for the sick, part of their charism being that no person should be left to die alone.
This Feast Day is also a time to consider our approach to the elderly in our families today, as the intervention of the State into aged care may entail treatment at the call of agendas, rather than as the result of a recognition of the value of the individual person.
Psalm 33;2 is the Introit of the Mass for this Feast Day:
I am the health of the people. In whatever tribulation they are in, let them cry to me, and I shall hear their prayer.
I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall always be in my mouth.
Glory be to the Father.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well. I wanted to share a personal experience and a referral that may be helpful to anyone exploring alternative or herbal treatment options. In August 2010 I was diagnosed with brain cancer and my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. A close friend recommended Dr. Jekawo, a traditional herbal practitioner in West Africa, and gave me his contact information.
I contacted Dr. Jekawo and he provided a guarantee that his herbal medicine would cure my brain cancer, my wife’s breast cancer, and herpes completely. He asked for payment to prepare the herbal medicines, which I paid. Within seven working days he shipped the herbal medicines and gave us instructions to take them for 21 days. We followed his instructions exactly, and after completing the 21-day course both my wife and I experienced a complete resolution of our symptoms. Because of our experience, I want to recommend Dr. Jekawo to others seeking help for cancer, herpes, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, COPD, hepatitis, or similar conditions.
